Where little learners thrive

Give your childa place to Shine

A safe, warm, unhurried place to learn — where the days are busy, the rooms are small, and somebody always knows your child's name.

Where every child is encouraged to imagine, discover and belong, in a room that feels safe enough to try things in. We think the best learning still happens through joyful play and ordinary adventures.

Helping every childreach their potential

Children do not all arrive at the same place at the same time, and they are not supposed to. Our job is to notice where each one is and give them the next thing.

  • Every child has a key person who knows what they are working on this month — and tells you, rather than waiting for a review.

  • Small rooms, familiar faces and a day that runs the same way each time, because predictability is what makes a child brave.

  • We tell you the ordinary things as well as the milestones. You should never be surprised by anything at a parents' evening.

A day filled withlearning and fun

  • Morning welcome
    • Warm greetings and free play
    • Circle time and the day's plan
    • Building friendships from the start
  • Learning & discovery
    • Hands-on learning experiences
    • Creative art, music and storytelling
    • Early literacy and problem solving
  • Play & growth
    • Outdoor adventures and movement
    • Healthy snacks and quiet time
    • Reflection and unhurried goodbyes

A balanced routine that combines learning, creativity, outdoor play and proper rest — because a tired child learns nothing.

The foundation forhappy childhoods

  • Enrolling our daughter here was one of the better decisions we have made. From the first day the staff made her feel safe and genuinely welcome, and we have watched her get braver month by month.

    Sarah Mitchell

    Parent of Emma

  • The handover at the door tells us more than any report ever did. We always know what kind of day he has had before we are out of the car park.

    James Carter

    Parent of Noah

  • We were nervous about nursery at all, let alone starting mid-year. The settling-in was handled so carefully that by the second week she was asking to go.

    Olivia Brown

    Parent of Lily

  • Our son has changed enormously since he started. He is more confident, he joins in, and he has opinions about lunch — which we are told is progress.

    Michael Davis

    Parent of Lucas

  • What sold it was the tour. Nobody was performing for us; the rooms just carried on, and the children looked busy and unbothered that we were there.

    Emily Johnson

    Parent of Sophia

  • Starting nursery was a big step for our family. The staff were patient with him and, honestly, patient with us — which mattered more than we expected.

Frequently asked questions

  • From six months to five years, across five rooms. Children move up when they are ready for the next room rather than on their birthday — we will always talk it through with you first.

  • Every member of the team holds a recognised early-years qualification, and all of them are first-aid trained and DBS checked. Room leads hold a level 3 or above.

  • Free play and breakfast, then a focus session, outdoors, lunch, a rest or quiet period, an afternoon activity and a slow end to the day. The shape stays the same; what fills it changes.

  • Secure entry, staffed at all times, with strict ratios and daily room checks. Every accident and every incident is written up and shown to you at pickup, not filed.

  • Please do, and come in the middle of the morning when the rooms are busy. We do not do tidy, quiet, arranged tours — you should see it on an ordinary day.

  • Yes. Full days, half days and set-day patterns are all available, subject to space in the room. Term-time-only places exist in Pre-K.
