4–5 Years

Pre-K academy

A balanced year that gets children ready for school — reading, numbers, and the harder part: managing a whole day among a lot of other children.

What a day looks like

School readiness is mostly social. We work on letters and numbers, certainly, but the thing that decides how the first term goes is whether a child can wait, ask, and recover from a bad morning.

What your child will learn

  • Reading and numbers

Phonics, counting and pattern, in short sessions with a lot of play either side.

  • Staying with it

Finishing something started, tidying it away, and coming back to it tomorrow.

  • Getting ready for school

Lining up, lunchboxes, asking a grown-up for help — rehearsed here so it is not new in September.
