6–18 Months

Infant care

Gentle routines, close attention and a room built for crawling — with sensory play that follows what each baby is already curious about.

What a day looks like

The first room is the quietest one. Babies here get an unhurried day built around their own sleeping and feeding rhythms rather than a timetable, with the same two or three faces every morning so the room feels known.

What your child will learn

  • Sensory exploration

Textures, sounds and light to play with, changed often so there is always something new within reach.

  • Gentle routines

Sleeping, feeding and nappy changes led by your baby's own rhythm, and written up for you each day.

  • Early communication

Songs, naming and a lot of face-to-face talking — the groundwork for first words.
